About Us
“It all started in 2010 when my mom brought home a ‘family camera’ from a vacation—and I was completely over my engineering career. Out of curiosity (and maybe a little boredom), I grabbed the camera and took it everywhere. I had no idea that tiny decision would lead me down a completely different path. Fast forward 15 years, and here I am—not doing engineering at all, but living and breathing photography instead.”
Born and raised in Venezuela, Michelle moved to the U.S. in 2019 and launched her solo business in 2023 after working in high end marketing agencies in the South Florida Area. Michelle LaCruz Photo is a proudly woman and Latino owned photography studio based in Boca Raton, Florida.
Get to know The Studio
Located in West Boca Raton, Florida. Our newly 1,200sqft studio is a purpose-built space for commercial brand shoots. The Studio is Equipped with a 15ftx15ft Cyclorama Wall, an extensive prop collection, advanced lighting and grip, a dedicated coffee area with snacks and drinks and comfortable client spaces, it has everything needed to run a smooth, professional production from start to finish.

Lilo
Lilo is our CSSO (Chief Snacks & Security Officer), proudly in charge of treat quality control and barking at the door like it’s her full-time job. She was rescued from the streets of West Palm Beach in 2022 and lovingly set up for adoption by Peggy Adams. Now, Lilo is not only Michelle’s soul dog but also the best studio sidekick—especially when there are no clients on set and it’s time for some serious snoozing. If you see her around, give her some belly rubs!

Gabriel Hurtado (Gabe)
Gabe is our incredible Marketing Project Manager—aka the calm in the chaos. He handles client communications, proposals, marketing strategies, and basically keeps things running smoothly.
He’s also the one who keeps Michelle from pulling her hair out while navigating the wild ride of scaling from freelancer to full-blown business owner.

Adam J Tanner
Adam is our go-to guy for all things luxury real estate photography. When corporate projects or high-end property shoots come up, Adam steps in as our trusted lead and teammate. He’s also Michelle’s wonderful husband and business partner, proving that teamwork (and marriage) really does make the dream work.
Michelle LaCruz Photo also works with a trusted network of freelance professionals including producers, models, photo editors, stylists and makeup artists.
When a project calls for a fuller production team, the right people are already in the roster — vetted, experienced, and familiar with the studio and industry standards.
